We are sharing a recipe for the most delicate pie “A la Julienne” made from puff pastry with chicken and mushrooms! Everyone will lick their fingers and ask for more! This is a fragrant masterpiece of French cuisine in a large, Russian format. This pie combines crispy puff pastry, tender chicken, mushrooms and a cheese crust. An ideal dish for a festive table or a special dinner – your guests will be delighted!
Ingredients
- Puff pastry – 250 g
- Chicken fillet – 500 g
- Champignons – 300 g
- Onion – 1 pc. (100 g)
- Hard cheese – 150 g
- Cream 10% – 200 ml
- Eggs – 2 pcs.
- Butter – 30 g
- Salt, pepper, spices – to taste
Preparation
1. Cut the chicken into cubes and fry in butter until golden. Add chopped mushrooms and onions and fry for 7–10 minutes. Beat eggs with cream, add spices and half of the grated cheese.
2. Roll out the dough and place it in a rimmed pan. Spread the chicken and mushroom filling evenly. Pour in the egg and cream mixture and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake for 30–40 minutes at 200°C until golden brown. Enjoy!
