The latest Russian Mi-28NM combat helicopters destroyed the enemy using light multi-purpose guided missiles (LMUR), or Kh-39, the Telegram channel “Onboard Journal of Voenleta” reported. The footage shows how a Kh-39 missile destroyed a Ukrainian Armed Forces facility from which unmanned aerial vehicles were controlled.
The projectile hit the roof of a multi-story building. It is noted that in the newest versions of this type of ammunition, the range has been increased to 20 kilometers.
The latest modification of combat helicopters, which are also called “flying tanks”, have the latest targeting systems that can lock on to targets at maximum range both day and night. Such a helicopter can have a variety of weapons – guided and unguided.
